in Guernsey did a big feature of Ike and his album (incl. 6 album songs!) on Monday, 10th May 2004, 8.30pm, incl. a live telephone interview (listen to a 1.0MB-8min excerpt!!) on the Monday Evening show 'The Edge' with Simon Charlwood! They broadcast FM & net! MIRRORS & SHADE & Another Day were previewed before on 26.4 & 3.5.2004! Simon said about Ike:"...This guy sounds more like David Bowie than David Bowie himself ... Great stuff!"! Apparently three listeners called in to ask when the new Bowie single would come out...! YOU COULD and Visionary were aired on 15./ 22.12.02! At Ike's second visit at Halo radio this year, this time by himself, he played acoustic versions of his album songs STILL and MIRRORS & SHADE. Both DJ Eddy Schouten and DJ Ben talked to Ike for an hour live on air about the album, life in London and, of course, the tour + future plans. All album songs are now in the system and can be requested 24/7! Mirrors and Shade is in the Top 10 since 13 weeks, it reached No.2! Victor from Haloradio told us: "I've listened to the samples on your website and I must say you remind me somewhat of David Bowie and Suede. Normally I don't like to put a label on music or try to compare artists with each other, but these are not the least ones to be compared with." Haloradio is playing all three songs from the single at random!
Eddy wrote: "Great music. I also like track 2
"Visionary" a lot. We've put "You could" in our hit zone, which means it will be played for at least 4 times a day.YOU COULD reached NO.5 on their Top13 in 2003!!
